Chris Backman and Brendan Allen together form "Backman & Allen". 2 acoustic guitars and 2 vocals provide the backbone to a professional and very experienced duo.  Backman & Allen have played together for over 10 years at countless Melbourne venues and events throughout Victoria from pubs to weddings!

Chris Backman - Vocals & Guitar​
Son of 70’s country music star Cash Backman, Chris follows in his father’s footsteps as a solo singer and entertainer. Chris has played in many locations around Australia, including a 2-year residency at Wellers Restaurant Melbourne, where he supported some of Australia’s finest musicians including Mark Seymour, James Reyne, Diesel and Daryl Braithwaite. In 2007, Chris and his band supported Eric Martin (lead singer from 90’s mega band Mr. Big) on his Australian solo tour. Most recently, in 2010 Chris performed in China as a guest of the MUSIC GROUP at the annual Shanghai Music Show.​​
