Brendan Allen

Brendan began playing guitar just after finishing high school in 1995. Growing up in North East Victoria he moved to Melbourne where he developed a love for the instrument after seeing Jimi “The Human” Hocking play solo and acoustic at The Depot in Richmond (now The Precinct).

Years of following “learn to play” books and watching countless guitarists / singers would follow. This enabled Brendan to begin his first live gig as part of an acoustic duo.

 

From starting as a pure acoustic guitar player, Brendan then began playing electric guitar and has since played with many of Australia’s top performers including; Jimmy Barnes, Diesel, Jon Stevens, Shannon Noll, Guy Sebastian and Jimi Hocking.

More recently Brendan has been working on original material as well as playing as a session guitarist for a number of bands and artists.

Brendan can play solo acoustic, as a duo or trio or even as a full band. Brendan can create music in a variety of formats to suit your event.
